Export Market Resource Group was founded by senior export marketing strategist Dan Wilkinson, to help Australian businesses succeed overseas.

With an extensive background in domestic and international sales and marketing, Dan has built key decision-maker relationships in government and commercial sectors in over 40 countries, developing export opportunities and distributor partnerships in around 20.

An Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) consultant with the Australian Trade & Investment Commission (Austrade), Dan also works with intending and current Australian exporters to secure grant funding for business development expenditure.

International Market Research

We conduct in-depth export market research on prospective locations in the global marketplace. This includes reporting on trade statistics, competitors, legislation, languages, culture and purchasing motivators, which informs the demand for your company’s products or services.

International Distributor Research

Once a market has been confirmed as viable, we perform export distributor research to identify potential resellers for your company. This includes assessing distribution networks, credit ratings, product mixes and industry references, plus margins and growth history.

Export Market Development Grants

Export Market Development Grants (EMDGs), run by the Australian Government and Austrade, offer financial assistance for Australian exporters. This covers marketing expenses like business development-related consultants, travel, trademarks and advertising overseas.
